When I first began TechBubble I was quite excited about wearable technology. I wrote some articles about the Samsung Gear Fit and how I believed it would revolutionize fitness applications with its features that allowed people to monitor things like their heart rate and get helpful tips whilst taking part in exercise. My excitement about wearables started to fade a bit, as more and more different types of wearable s were being produced, but most of them had pretty much the same functionality, there was nothing really unique that grabbed my attention. Last year I shared a photo about a new type of wearable that really did grab my attention and I immediately thought, that is the future of wearable technology. This cool little device looks just like any normal bracelet, but appearances were deceiving as you will in this article and the related video. The Cicret Bracelet was first introduced to the internet via YouTube back in November 2014 and uses revolutionary technology to project a touch screen onto your arm. The touchscreen allows you to read emails, answer your calls, play games and loads of other cool features, offering many more features than smart watches are at the moment. What is really refreshing is that this watch, unlike the other wearables, doesn't focus on fitness, it is more like a personal computer for your arm. This technology will definitely be a step forward in the world of wearable technology and make tasks a lot easier, no more taking your phone out of your pocket, simply flick your wrist and there is everything you need right on your arm. Another good thing is that it doesn't look like there will be much of a learning curve for people to use the technology, the touchscreen looks very similar to most smart phones, with a typical home screen where you can keep all of you favorite apps ready to use at the flick of the wrist and a touch of a button. If you visit their website you will see that they are currently trying to raise 850,000 euros to get the technology to the next level helping to cover development and legal costs, with over 45,000 followers on Facebook, 10,000,000 views on YouTube and 6,000 donors according to their website I am sure they will make and hope they do. To see the Cicret in action check out the video on this page and checkout their website for more info and social links.
